Back From the Bush 2022:

After a Summer of fieldwork, research or classes, the ESSU invites you to join our Back from the Bush party! The event starts at 5:00pm on September the 22nd. Head on down to TASC 1 on the 7000 level (underneath the stairs) for a night of pizza, beverages (alcoholic and sans alcohol), games, music and socializing! Connect with fellow students, grad students, and faculty. Please note that this event is only open to students who are Earth Science majors, minors, or currently taking an EASC course. Faculty and grad students in the Earth Science Department are also welcome.

Back to the Bush 2021:

Back to the Bush is on! The ESSU will be hosting a back to bush event over zoom during the last week of the semester on Friday, April 16th. We will be opening up the event early at 5:00pm, with the main portion of the social occurring from 6:00 – 9:00pm. Back to the bush is RSVP, and the link is posted below. We will have options to host breakout rooms corresponding to the field schools this upcoming summer, so this is a good chance to possibly meet your fellow classmates and learn some important tips about field school from students who have taken it prior!

SFU students who are attending the Back to the Bush will be given a $15 Uber Eats voucher to use (one per person)!
